We want you to be happy with every Woodhud purchase. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us within the timelines below. We evaluate every request fairly — but we will refuse requests that do not meet the policy or that appear abusive or fraudulent.
2. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
Returns are accepted only if the item is unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging and the return request is submitted within 15 days of delivery.
Bespoke, custom-made, or made-to-order products are non-returnable and non-refundable except where faulty or defective.
Installed, modified or altered products are not eligible for return unless the return is due to a manufacturer defect.
3. Damaged or Defective Goods (Very important)
If your item is damaged or defective on delivery, you must notify us within 3 business days of receiving the shipment.
Provide clear photos and/or a short video showing the damage/defect, packaging condition, and shipment label. Failure to provide evidence within 3 business days may invalidate the claim.
For verified damaged/defective items, Woodhud will, at its option and subject to stock availability:
Replace the item at no extra cost (preferred), or
Repair the item, or
Issue a full refund including any applicable shipping costs.
4. How to Request a Return / Refund
Email info@woodhud.com or use the Contact Us form with: Order ID, product name, reason for return, and supporting photos/videos.
Our Returns Team will respond within 48 business hours with instructions.
Do not return the product until you get return authorisation and shipping instructions. Unauthorized returns may be refused.
5. Inspection & Processing
All returned items are inspected on receipt. Refunds or replacements are processed only after successful inspection confirming the product is unused, complete, and in original condition.
Refunds are issued via the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for banks/payment processors to reflect the refund. Woodhud is not responsible for bank processing delays.
6. Return Shipping Costs & Restocking
If the return is due to our error or a defective product → Woodhud covers return shipping charges.
If the return is for buyer’s remorse or change of mind → return shipping and any applicable duties are the customer’s responsibility.
Woodhud reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 10% of the product price for returns made for non-quality reasons (this will be stated at the time of the return authorization).
7. Refusal & Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to decline returns or refunds where:
The item is not in original condition, packaging, or missing components;
The claim lacks required evidence (photos/videos);
The return appears fraudulent or abusive (repeated false claims);
Return instructions were not followed.
Attempted fraud will be reported to law enforcement and may result in permanent blocking of future purchases.
8. Installation & Third‑Party Work
Woodhud is not liable for damages caused by third‑party installers. Any installation-related claims must be directed to the installer.
We provide product care and installation guidance; follow these instructions to keep warranties valid.
9. Partial Refunds / Price Adjustments
In some cases (e.g., minor imperfections accepted by customer), we may offer a partial refund or discount in lieu of a return. This is at Woodhud’s discretion.

11. Consumer Rights & Governing Law
This policy is without prejudice to any statutory consumer rights you may have under applicable law. Where local law mandates greater consumer protection, those rights apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
